- Shop around and look for the best prices and discounts. If you are struggling with bills and can't afford treatment for your pet, talk to your vet. Maybe work out a payment plan or similar arrangement. If you have been with the same vet for years, they will probably work with you.
Although the cost of keeping a pet is a burdon on some households, their pets of part of their family and are worth every penny. If you can find a way to keep up the very basic maintenance for your pet, you will be rewarded many times over with a healthy, loving companion.
